At the 2025 CCTV Spring Festival Gala last night,Watch New Son (2020) Korean movie renowned film director Zhang Yimou collaborated with Hangzhou Unitree Robotics and Xinjiang Arts Institute to present a program titled Yang BOT. More than a dozen humanoid robots, dressed in traditional Yangge costumes and holding red handkerchiefs, took the stage and performed in perfect sync with the dancers. On stage, the humanoid robot wears a floral vest, performs the Yangko dance, and can even spin the handkerchief. Yangge is a traditional Chinese folk dance, often performed during festivals, featuring vibrant costumes, rhythmic movements, and the use of handkerchiefs or fans.
