LAS VEGAS -- LG's line of high-end televisions has a new king.
The celebrity titsLG W7, just announced at CES, is a 77-inch 4K TV that's thinner than an iPhone. The OLED set will also be available in a 65-inch model, and it's light: the 77-inch version weighs 27 pounds while the 65-inch weighs just 17 pounds.

The razor-thin sets are so slim that LG said its internal nickname for them was "wallpaper OLED" due to how much they blend in with the wall. Unlike other TVs, which require separate hardware to mount, the W7 can be mounted with magnets and sits less than 4 millimeters from the wall.
Because the sets are so thin, LG had to pull the speakers and many of the other electronic components into a separate soundbar that sits underneath the TV and connects via a cable. The soundbar is LG's first to take advantage of Dolby Atmos technology, which allows its sound to come not only from the sides, but also from above, which LG claims to "envelop viewers like never before."
Other features of note include LG's updated webOS 3.5 smart TV platform, as well as Magic Link, a feature that lets users quickly find related videos from a variety of sources.
Finally, the company revealed a new 75-inch 4K LED TV, the 75UJ6570. It does not support HDR, which is all the rage these days, but it should provide improved black levels and contrast with minimum glare, and all that while consuming very little power.
