On Wednesday, Snap Inc. and Disney ABC Television Group announced they will partner up to create original episodic shows for Snapchat Discover.
The programming will kick off with Watch Party: The Bachelor, a complement to ABC's popular franchise which kicks off its 21st season on Jan. 2.
The Snapchat show will show celebrities, comedians, super fans and Bachelorand Bachelorettealums as they get together to watch the season.
The rotating Bachelorenthusiasts will "hang out, eat snacks, crack jokes and hilariously react to the crazy/wild/romantic storylines that are sure to unfold this season," ABC and Snap Inc. said in the press release.
There will be 10 original episodes and one Live story. Episodes will be available on Snapchat every Tuesday morning following episodes of The Bacheloron ABC Monday nights. They will live for 24 hours on Snapchat.
Several additional shows from ABC Television Group will roll out on Snapchat in the coming months, as the platform continues to grow its original, scripted and unscripted shows on its Discover platform.
Earlier this year, ABC partnered up with Snap for an Oscars Live story, which both companies said was "very successful."
