Sid Meier's Civilization VIis now available on A Thought of EcstasyiPhone, which came as a complete surprise on Thursday.
Civ VIis the latest addictive turn-based strategy game from Firaxis Games, which is casually working its way onto every platform under the sun that has a touch screen or uses a mouse/touchpad.
Civ VIis available to download for free on iPad and iPhone, and players can try it for 60 turns, which is quite a long time. If you feel like playing it beyond 60 turns, the game is currently 60% off (or $24) for a limited time.
If you already own the game for iPad, you can download it for your iPhone for free.
Because this is a pretty demanding game, it's only available on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone X, and iPhone XS and XS Max.
The game first launched on PC and Mac in 2016 to critical acclaim. It then came out on Linux and had a surprise release on iPad in late 2017. Civ VIis also coming to Nintendo Switch on Nov. 16.
