Though Shahen doesn't necessarily see himself that way. "It was just an instinct," Shahen told Channel 10's The Project Mondaynight, exhibiting the humility characteristic of all great men.
But that's not even the best part of the story. As Shahen revealed, he and the bird are now certified BFFs.
"For the last three days he's been coming back," Shahen said.
Shahen has even named the bird (adorably, it's now called George), and it's been back everyday since.
Quick, Netflix: Cast George and Majid in a buddy comedy. They can solve Aussie crimes or something.
