Have a million bucks sitting around?Dear Utol (2025): Totoy Bayo Episode 38 Looking for an outlet for all that cash? Perhaps you might find inspiration from a California man who shelled out $1 million for in-app purchases in Game of War. The only problem, aside from the fact that he spent a million dollarson a video game, was that the cash was all stolen.
Kevin Lee Co, 45, pleaded guilty in Sacramento federal court last week to stealing $4.8 million from his employer, Holt California. Co also admitted to the court that he spent $1 million of that money for in-app purchases in Game of Warapp.

It is self-described as "the world’s largest multiplayer strategy game" with "millions… battling for domination," and it clocks $1.6 million in earnings daily.
Players on Game of War tend to spend a lot on in-app purchases. An average user, for instance, spent $550 on the game in 2015. Last year, one player spent $9,000 on the game (much to his regret).
Co confessed to conducting hundreds of unauthorized transactions and manipulating records at his company over the course of seven years. He also fancied using the stolen cash to fund his plastic surgery and got himself a membership at the exclusive Whitney Oaks Gold Club in Rocklin, California.
