As if things weren't chaotic enough on Watch Jukkalan OnlineElon Musk's Twitter, it has now added exclamation points all over the place. The "What's happening?" prompt when you compose a tweet has now become "What is happening?!"
Not satisfied, the reply prompt now reads, "Tweet your reply!" and the quote-tweet reads, "Add a comment!" Previously, neither prompt had an exclamation point.
SEE ALSO: Twitter users are serving c*nt in a way that reclaims the wordRight now, the changes only appear in the desktop version of Twitter. The app on your phone should still be even-keeled and exclamation-less. Here's what the new prompts look like.
The change is odd, but it's a Musky move through and through. It's a small change that signals an even bigger shift in tone, i.e. haha we're all having so much fun here, right?! It adds a bit of chaotic energy, for sure. Not to mention, most folks on Twitter already exclaim quite a bit, no prompting necessary.
It's not exactly clear when the change took place and whether it will migrate to the app. (We would ask Twitter's press department, but...) We here at Mashable first noticed the shift this week. Other folks online seemed to be noticing the shift on Wednesday, May 17, as well.
