Ye's account on Married Women's Sex Party (2025)Twitter has been suspended.
The news was shared by Twitter CEO Elon Musk, who said that Ye, formerly Kanye West, "again" violated Twitter's rule against incitement to violence.
The (latest) offending tweet from Ye contained an image of a Nazi swastika blended with the Star of David.
After finding out he'd be banned for it, Ye tweeted an unflattering photo of Elon Musk showering on a yacht with the caption "Let's always remember this as my final tweet," to which Musk replied "This is fine." You can see the short exchange, together with the (now invisible) tweet from Ye, in the image below.
Musk later clarified that Ye's account has been suspended for incitement to violence, not for posting the image of Musk. "Just clarifying that his account is being suspended for incitement to violence, not an unflattering pic of me being hosed by Ari. Frankly, I found those pics to be helpful motivation to lose weight," he tweeted.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
Twitter's rule against incitement to violence is precisely what got former President Donald Trump suspended from Twitter, following his tweets which seemingly encouraged the mob who stormed the U.S. Capitol in January 2021.
SEE ALSO: Twitter has released a bunch of spin about its ongoing Elon Musk-led garbage fireYe's suspension follows a wave of reinstatements of previously banned accounts, including that of Donald Trump, Kathy Griffin, Jordan Peterson, Babylon Bee, and Ye himself, who was banned before for posting antisemitic tweets. Musk originally said no account reinstatements will happen before a "content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints" is formed, but then went ahead and reinstated Trump's account following a Twitter poll.
