LONDON -- A Gap advert sent out to UK customers has been causing a commotion on Yuna Ogura is Opened Up By A Train Thief Who Comes To Her House (2025)social media, after people deemed it "sexist."
The ad in question was first shared on social media by Twitter user Sabrina Golonka after she received Gap's email.

Below the "little scholar" was an image of a girls' tee, captioned "the social butterfly".

Gap's website does, however, feature a girls' T-shirt emblazoned with the word "genius," which might have been a nice addition in Gap's mailer. (Mashablehas reached out to Gap for comment.)
It didn't end there, however.
There was a slight problem with Gap's "little scholar" T-shirt. Albert Einstein's name had been misspelled.
People on Twitter were quick to point out the irony.
