Mashable's own Miller Kern reviewed the Windmill AC window unit, naming it a Mashable Choice product. Kern proclaimed it's "great" for anyone looking for an air conditioner that "cools reliably." She praised it for its smartphone controls, simple scheduling, and pleasant aesthetic. "All things considered, Windmill is actually a pretty good bang for your buck if you’re looking for an air conditioner that cools reliably, has smartphone controls, allows for scheduling, and looks nicer than standard window AC units," wrote Kern.
