If you're new to this wonderful world, download the Snapchat app immediately and follow these steps.
Once you've created a Snapchat account, there are a shedload of ways you can start following Mashable.
Open the app and hover your camera over the MashableQR code below. Hold your finger on the screen for a few seconds while the app scans the code. A pop up for Mashablewill appear which will allow you to open the edition and/or subscribe to us:
You can also take a screenshot of the QR code and save it on your camera roll for later.
Click on the following link which leads you directly to our UK and Ireland edition of Snapchat Discover on your mobile. If you're on desktop, that link takes you to a page with the same QR code, which you can scan and click through to open the app.
If that's not enough Mashablefor you, you can also add us as a friend to see our Stories from all over the world. Start by opening the app and clicking on the ghost icon. It's on the top left corner.
This takes you to the "Add Friend" option:
Then you can add us by Snapcode or username:
Now you're following Mashableas a friend. The next step is to go to Discover by opening the app and clicking on the icon on the bottom right corner or swiping right on the Stories screen. Snapchat provides instructions about Discover here.
