Why we like it

Sliding in just under the $500 mark, the ASUS Chromebook Flip is our favorite Chromebook for travel. It's thin and lightweight with a 15-inch screen, yet heavy-duty enough to handle travel. "With a full HD display and 360-degree hinges that can switch between tablet and laptop, it’s perfect for turning your long flight or ride into a mini Netflix marathon," Mashable contributor AJ Dellinger wrote. Its specs aren't anything to gawk at compared to traditional laptops, but for a Chromebook, its Intel Core processor and 8GB RAM are pretty impressive. Slash $200 off for Cyber Monday for a limited time.

Why we like it

Most sub-$300 laptops have lousy Intel Celeron N Series processors and jittery 60Hz displays, and max out with 4GB of memory and 128GB of slow eMMC storage. Not this 15-inch Dell Inspiron model, though: It's packing a 12th-gen Intel Core i3 CPU, a 120Hz display, 8GB of RAM, and a whopping 512GB of SSD storage. It's not an aesthetically stunning laptop by any means, but an incredibly good value spec-wise at just $279.99 during Dell's Black Friday Sneak Peek event, which skims 26% off its $379.99 MSRP.
