You would think one of the most important characters in Game of Throneswould know how the series ends. You'd be Delires obscenes (1998)wrong.
Emilia Clarke, the actor behind Game of Thrones' Daenerys Targaryen, spoke to The Hollywood Reporterfor the Awards Chatter Podcast Wednesday, talking about her acting career, her aversion to talking about nude scenes, and the end of Game of Thrones.
According to Clarke, the creators behind the HBO series might be filming multiple endings so even people working on the show won't know how it ends until it airs (a rumor that's long been suspected).
THRasked Clarke about when she learned how Game of Thronesends and she couldn't give them a satisfying answer because she's not sure if she knows how it ends. (Orshe's just a great bluffer.)

I think they're filming a bunch of stuff and they're not telling us. I'm being serious. I'm being deadly serious. I think that they don't even trust us."
Apparently the duo behind the hit series, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, reallydon't want anything getting out early. According to Clarke, it sounds like if you do hear about a leaked ending it might not even be the one that airs.
"We aren't being told which is actually what's going to happen"
"There's lots of different endings that could happen," Clarke said. "I think we're doing all of them and we aren't being told which is actually what's going to happen."
Clarke also discussed how she got cast for the role of Daenerys and some of her experiences on set, including her thoughts on doing nude scenes and her annoyance with how often it comes up.
"The volume of interest in the fact that I took my clothes off is astonishing to me," Clarke told THR. "Emilia Clarke didn't go up on stage and go, 'What up guys? Check out these guys [her breasts]!' That didn't happen. I took on a character, and the character had things happen to her ... It is something that I get asked more than any other question ... It genuinely is something that I find really difficult handling."
Clarke did say that filming a scene while nude wasn't exactly easy, especially at first.
"Was it daunting for me, as a 23-year-old, to do it? Yes, 100%. Hell, it's daunting anyway. But I must admit, having done it, I believe people care more for her as a character, because they've seen her suffer — so there's that."
The eighth and final season of Game of Throneswill air on HBO in 2019.
