The Stacy Valentine in Sex Commandos (1999) full movienext time you're on a plane you might want to pause before browsing the in-flight entertainment options and reach for some sanitizer. For all you know, the screen you're about to touch could be glazed with... someone's foot sweat.
Though the screens on plane walls and seat backs are mounted around eye level so passengers can easily reach out their arms and use their fingers to swipe through the selections, one traveler was recently spotted using his FOOT to operate the touch screen.
The footage, shared to Twitter on Monday by author Alafair Burke, will make you cringe.

"My friend who doesn’t have Twitter sent this from her flight. It belongs on Twitter," Burke wrote alongside the video that shows a man sitting in his seat with his bare left foot propped against the wall in front of him. Meanwhile, he was using his right bare foot to scroll through the movie options.
People were not amused.

It's important to note that some people with disabilities do use their feet to operate a touch screen, but Burke confirmed that her friend saw the man walk on and off the plane while carrying his bag, which led her to believe that he simply enjoyed using his feet to navigate the screen.

Many people found the video so horrifying that they developed a newfound appreciation for Naomi Campbell's extremely thorough plane sanitizing routine, which she recently revealed in a YouTube video.
Whenever Campbell boards a plane she carries out an extensive pre-flight cleaning routine that involves putting on gloves and wiping down every surfaces that her hands might come in contact with during the trip (including the screen). She even brings her own seat cover and face masks to avoid germs.

"I do not care what people think of me. It's my health and it makes me feel better," Campbell, who's ahead of us all, explained in the video.
Like many, I'll admit that when I first saw Campbell's deep clean routine I thought it was a bit much. But now, post-feet swiping video, I will be following her lead going forward.
Others agree that the two videos are a match made in social media heaven.

Burke ended her cringe-worthy thread by sharing that her nephew texted her and say he fears foot swiping on screens will become a new viral trend, which, please... no!

Having seen the #IceCreamChallenge recently spiral into absolute chaos, the future of viral trends doesn't look great. But we all have the choice to keep our shoes on during flights and notgross people out. Remember that.
