The White House quickly responded to Pelosi's decision to tear the speech, claiming that "her legacy" was now tied to ripping up the things Trump mentioned in the address, such as "one of our last surviving Tuskegee Airmen."
Trump's speech on Tuesday was rife with reality-TV-ready moments, including a surprise reunion of a soldier and his family and the first lady awarding conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
