You've gotta hand it to the royal family: choosing to spill the beans about a third royal baby on The Liar (2014)Beyoncé's birthday is a bold, bold move.
SEE ALSO: A third royal baby's on the way to rival George and Charlotte's cutenessBut, was this just an innocent coincidence? Or, is the British royal family secretly jealous of Her Majesty the Kween, Beyoncé?
If the latter is true, then it's hard to blame Kate and Will for being royally cheesed off about being upstaged.
For a while now, Kate's had not one buttwoextremely adorable children. So cute are the chubby-cheeked duo that the entire world literally gushes in unison when Kensington Palace blesses us with the odd photo of them chilling at the palace. Until this year, Kate and Will probably thought they had created the cutest family on the planet.
But, then something happened. Beyoncé went and had two babies at once. Two absolutely gorgeous bundles of joy—namely Rumi and Sir Carter—came into this world, instantly making the Carter brood bigger and cuter than the royal clan. Because, why have two cherub-like cuties when you can have THREE?
With one Instagram post announcing the twins' birth, the deed was done. The Carter household was crowned Cutest Family On Earth, usurping the royals' from their throne of cuteness.

Just look at that knowing look in Bey's eyes. She's saying, "Sorry, Kate, but I came for your throne."
A few days after Bey's Instagram, the royals shared some mildly charming photos of George and Charlotte on a royal visit to Germany and Poland. This kind of thing might have been pretty big in days gone by, but people were still thinking about Rumi and Sir Carter. Charlotte who?

So, what did Kate and Will do? Not content with their relegation in the cute family stakes, they decided to have another baby. There's no guarantee that this sprog will be able to rival the bonniness of Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir Carter combined, but it's worth a try.

And, to add insult to injury, they decided to announce their happy news on Beyoncé's birthday. Wow, that's some disrespect.

Sadly, due to some pretty strict royal protocol, Kate wasn't able to announce her pregnancy in a fabulous Botticelli-esque Instagram photo. She had to make do with an average, run-of-the-mill press release on Twitter. Cool.
Fingers crossed the baby is precious enough to compensate for this shortcoming.
Happy Birthday Beyoncé! And, best of luck to Will and Kate in their quest to recapture the throne of cuteness.
