Pornhub's tradition of analyzing its users during major events,Green Bones (2024) from the Super Bowl to the Game of Thrones season 7 premiere, keeps us all in the know about when people are most likely to get in touch with their bodies.

The company released its Winter Olympics traffic insights on Thursday, which took a look at when and how users polished their skis the most during the competitions in Pyeongchang.

Olympics-themed searches surged on Pornhub, with "Winter Olympics" and "Sex Olympics" topping the list at a 3,445 percent and 2,825 percent increase, respectfully. Searches for "Nude Olympics" came third, with a 1,801 percent increase in searches.

Competing in winter sports while nude sounds like a painful ice burn waiting to happen.

The Winter Olympics taking place in South Korea's mountains inspired an increase of searches for videos containing the words "Korea." Other nationalities also shared an increase in search traffic, with Russia, China, Norway, and Thailand rounding out the top five.

Online porn is heavily regulated in South Korea, but there are ways to get around the country's strict censors. Gangwon-do, the province that Pyeongchang is located, saw a 70 percent increase in Pornhub use on Feb. 7. The Olympics officially started on the Feb. 9 -- were visiting Olympians the reason for that jump?

The opening ceremony required all hands on deck (instead of all hands somewhere else) as Pornhub's traffic in Gangwon fell on Feb. 9. It picked up again, peaking at an 85 percent increase overall on Feb. 13.

Overall, there was a 25 percent increase in Gangwon-do's female users from Feb. 7 to Feb. 14. While its youngest visitors (18-24) used Pornhub 6 percent less, there was an overall increase from the 25-54 demographic. The biggest jump in traffic came from the 65+ demographic. Somethingabout the Olympics has Gangwon-do's older residents racing to Pornhub. The site recorded an 80 percent increase in visitors 65+.

What arethe Olympians and spectators searching for? According to Pornhub's insights, the top search in Gangwon-do was "Threesome," with a 35 percent increase. Maybe the Winter Olympics will give athletes and spectators the chance to team up behind closed doors!
