According to Deadline, the My Big Fat Greek Weddingactress is set to star in an upcoming dramedy series about a suburban housewife who accidentally becomes famous from a viral video.

And while Deadlinereports the show isn't directly about Chewbacca Mom's personal experience, it's sure to give us some more insight on what life is like post-accidental fame.
“Suburbs Famousexplores the concept of how it seems to be quite easy to become famous,” Vardalos told Deadline. "I wanted to explore the concept of sudden fame for someone who isn’t prepared and doesn’t want it, for someone who gets power and doesn’t know what to do with it, as well as what happens next."
Vardalos also told the publication she'll delve into her own personal experiences relating to her rapid rise to fame following the release of My Big Fat Greek Wedding back in 2002.
"I worked hard to maintain my normal, average life every day, not wanting a personal assistant for example," she said. "You have struggles to maintain your ethics, morals, and friendships."
